Using the oil reserve for 6 months to control gas prices is Biden's plan

President Biden's effort to lower energy prices spiked as the U.S. and allies imposed steep sanctions on Russia over the invasion of Ukraine. The plan is to release 1 million barrels of oil per day from the strategic petroleum reserve for six months to control prices, the White House said Thursday.
