Trump Pushes for Peace as Zelensky Clings to Globalist War Agenda

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is once again playing the victim card, highlighting a wave of Russian drone strikes on his country Monday morning just hours before he is set to meet with President Trump. The timing was no coincidence: Zelensky is working overtime to manipulate Western emotions in hopes of keeping the endless war machine alive.

The reality is simple: Trump is the only statesman on the world stage trying to bring peace, while Zelensky and his European handlers are desperate to keep the conflict raging.
On Friday, President Trump held a historic private summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska. While the globalist press mocked the meeting, the three-hour engagement successfully reset relations between the world’s two largest nuclear powers. Both leaders expressed optimism about future negotiations. What they did not express was any desire to continue pouring American taxpayer dollars into a war thousands of miles away that has nothing to do with the security of ordinary Americans.
Immediately after his meeting with Putin, Trump personally reached out to Zelensky, inviting him and several European leaders to the White House. This is the America First president at his best: building real diplomacy, not endless aid packages.
But instead of showing flexibility, Zelensky doubled down. On Monday, he released a propaganda video showcasing Russian strikes on civilian areas, designed to inflame emotion rather than produce solutions. His message? Russia alone must stop the war — and Ukraine will concede nothing.
Trump, however, laid out the hard truth on Truth Social: Zelensky has the power to stop the war. The deal on the table is obvious — accept concessions on territory Russia has controlled for over a decade, including Crimea, and bring the bloodshed to an end. Yet Zelensky refuses, hiding behind Ukraine’s constitution and pretending his hands are tied.
This is the same Zelensky who has begged the West for tens of billions of dollars, demanded weapons from America and Europe, and presided over one of the most corrupt governments in Eastern Europe. Now he insists on prolonging war because surrendering land — land Ukraine hasn’t truly controlled since 2014 — would bruise his ego.
Meanwhile, everyday Ukrainians are suffering. Entire regions have been destroyed, millions displaced, and countless lives lost — all because their president refuses to face reality.
Trump understands what Zelensky and his NATO backers do not: true peace requires compromise. America cannot — and will not — bleed endlessly for a conflict that has nothing to do with defending U.S. soil. Putin has made his position clear. Ukraine cannot and will not reclaim Crimea. The quicker Zelensky accepts this, the sooner his people will stop dying.
The American people elected Trump to end wars, not start them. By pressuring Zelensky to make concessions, Trump is doing what Biden and the globalist elites never could — putting peace and stability above the demands of the military-industrial complex.
The question is simple: Will Zelensky choose peace, or will he keep gambling with his nation’s survival to appease the globalist class that made him a celebrity?
If Trump has his way, the war could be over tomorrow. If Zelensky has his way, the bloodshed will continue indefinitely.
