On Wednesday, FBI officers were observed entering the house and campaign office of Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas), a vocal opponent of President Joe Biden.

"The FBI was present in Laredo performing court-authorized law enforcement action," the FBI stated in a statement to news outlets, adding that "the FBI cannot make additional information on an active investigation."

"In any investigation, Congressman Cuellar will completely assist." "He is dedicated to ensuring that justice and the law are maintained," a representative for Cuellar told the press.

Henry Cuellar, a centrist, has been a vocal opponent of President Joe Biden's lenient immigration enforcement tactics, which analysts say have led to the surge in illegal immigration since Joe Biden assumed office a year ago.
