To discuss charging for electric vehicles, the Biden administration said its senior officials met with Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk and General Motors Chief Executive Mary Barra on Wednesday.
A statement from the administration stated, "there was consensus to ensure charging stations and vehicles interoperate and provide seamless user experiences, regardless of the car you drive or the charging station you use.".
President Joe Biden has often been the subject of harsh tweets from Musk, who has often clashed with the White House. Tesla's role in US electric vehicle manufacturing was publicly acknowledged by Biden after Musk repeatedly complained about being ignored.
