Dana White Announces 85,000 Free Tickets for Historic “Freedom 250” Fight Event at the White House

In what may become one of the most patriotic sporting spectacles in American history, UFC President Dana White has announced that 85,000 Americans will receive free tickets to attend the upcoming “Freedom 250” UFC fight event in Washington, D.C. — a celebration of American strength, freedom, and the nation’s 250th anniversary.

The historic fight night is scheduled for June 14, 2026, and will take place on the South Lawn of the White House, with thousands of fans gathering nearby at The Ellipse to witness the action.

For conservatives and patriotic Americans, the event represents more than sports — it symbolizes a cultural moment where American grit, competition, and national pride take center stage in the heart of the nation’s capital.

The event, called UFC Freedom 250, commemorates America’s 250th anniversary and coincides with the birthday of Donald Trump, whose administration originally supported the idea of bringing a major sporting event to the White House grounds.

According to White, thousands of Americans will gather in the park next to the White House to watch the fights on massive screens and participate in patriotic celebrations.

Speaking during a UFC announcement video, White explained how the event will work:

“The way the White House is laid out, you’ve got the White House, the South Lawn, and then right across the road is The Ellipse — a park right there. We’re going to ticket 85,000 people in The Ellipse, and the tickets are free.”

White encouraged fans across the country to travel to Washington for the celebration, promising fan activations, entertainment, and a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The UFC event will be the first professional sporting event ever staged at the White House, making it a landmark moment in American sports history.

While a few thousand invited guests will watch the fights directly on the South Lawn, the much larger crowd will gather nearby on The Ellipse, creating what could be one of the largest combat sports audiences ever assembled in the United States.

Major fights scheduled for the card include:

  • Ilia Topuria vs Justin Gaethje for the lightweight title

  • Alex Pereira vs Ciryl Gane for an interim heavyweight championship

These matchups will headline the patriotic celebration of American freedom and competitive spirit.

many say the event reflects the resurgence of unapologetic American culture, where sports, patriotism, and national pride are once again celebrated openly.

For decades, Washington was known more for bureaucrats and political gridlock. But this summer, the nation’s capital will transform into a massive celebration of freedom, strength, and American identity — with thousands of fans gathering just steps from the seat of executive power.

In the words of many supporters, Freedom 250 will be more than a fight night — it will be a declaration that American culture is alive, proud, and ready to celebrate its 250th year in unforgettable fashion.
