The Biden administration argues that Russia's invasion of Ukraine has made it isolated internationally. However, Moscow's top officials are hardly confined to the Kremlin. It seems that even the U.S. now wants to talk.

Antony Blinken said Wednesday he wants to restore diplomatic relations with Lavrov to discuss American detainees and Ukrainian issues.
