The Wall Street Journal reported Friday night that the New York State Attorney's Office has summoned dozens of officials from New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's administration as part of an investigation into allegations of sexual harassment.
The newspaper, citing people familiar with the matter, reported that Melissa DeRosa, Como's aide, who is the governor's secretary, was among the officials who received a subpoena earlier this month.
Cuomo, 63, is resisting pressure to resign after a series of allegations of sexual harassment or misconduct and revelations that his administration has reported fewer nursing home deaths due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
