In a powerful move that sent shockwaves through the political establishment, President Donald Trump on Thursday granted a full pardon to former Colorado clerk Tina Peters, the woman who dared to question the sacred cow of the American Left: the rigged 2020 election.
Peters, who had been convicted for attempting to access voting systems in order to expose what millions of Americans still believe was deep election misconduct, became a symbol of the Left’s ruthless campaign to silence anyone who challenges their narrative. For years, Democrats mocked, smeared, and jailed her — all for the “crime” of demanding truth in a system that rewards secrecy and punishes transparency.
Trump announced the pardon on Truth Social, calling Peters a “Patriot who simply wanted to make sure that our elections were fair and honest.” He added: “Today I am granting Tina a full pardon for her attempts to expose voter fraud in the rigged 2020 presidential election!”
Legal observers noted that even federal judges acknowledged the constitutional concerns in her prosecution. Judge Varholak pointed out glaring issues, writing that Peters raised “important First Amendment questions” and may have been punished more harshly because she spoke out — something Democrats are increasingly comfortable doing to their political opponents.
Her attorney, Peter Ticktin, who has been relentless in exposing the abuses against Peters, confirmed he received formal notice of the pardon.
“Tina Peters deserves justice,” he said. “What happened to her was a travesty, and it’s time to set it right.”
Ticktin revealed he had written to Trump on December 7, outlining why Peters must be protected — not punished — if America is ever going to uncover the truth behind 2020.
For years the media tried to portray Peters as a criminal. But to millions of conservatives, she is a whistleblower, a truth-teller, and now — thanks to President Trump — a free woman.
The question remains:
How many more Americans must be persecuted before the Left stops weaponizing the justice system against patriots who dare to question them?
