US sending advanced rockets and munitions to Ukraine says Biden

President Joe Biden said on Tuesday that the United States is providing Ukraine with "more advanced rocket systems and munitions" to combat Russia's invasion.

The president continued, "We have acted quickly to send Ukraine weapons and ammunition so that it can fight on the battlefield and be in the strongest position at the negotiating table.".

“That’s why I’ve decided that we will provide the Ukrainians with more advanced rocket systems and munitions that will enable them to more precisely strike key targets on the battlefield in Ukraine,” he wrote.

In a report last week, several outlets reported that Biden would be sending advanced, long-range rocket systems to Ukraine based on a request from Kiev.
