Newly unsealed federal documents released by the Department of Justice deliver powerful confirmation that President Donald Trump acted early and decisively against convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, contradicting years of media-driven insinuations pushed by Trump’s political opponents.
According to an FBI interview summary — known as a 302 — compiled in October 2019, Trump personally contacted Palm Beach law enforcement in 2006, after the local investigation into Epstein became public. The interview was conducted with the Palm Beach police chief who oversaw the Epstein probe at the time.
The FBI document states Trump was “one of the very first people to call” law enforcement once Epstein came under investigation. Trump reportedly told police, “Thank goodness you’re stopping [Epstein]. Everyone has known he’s been doing this.”
This documented call directly undermines years of false narratives suggesting Trump ignored or enabled Epstein’s crimes.
According to the summary, Trump made clear he had cut ties with Epstein, telling police he had removed Epstein from his private club, Mar-a-Lago, after becoming aware of Epstein’s conduct.
Trump also reportedly warned authorities about Epstein’s close associate Ghislaine Maxwell, describing her as “evil” and urging law enforcement to focus on her role — a statement later reinforced by Maxwell’s criminal conviction.
The document further states Trump told investigators he avoided Epstein entirely when minors were present, saying he “got the hell out of there” — a claim consistent with Trump’s longstanding public statements distancing himself from Epstein years before the scandal went global.
While critics spent years attempting to tie Trump to Epstein through guilt-by-association smears, the newly released FBI record shows something very different: Trump warned police, cut ties, and spoke out — early.
As additional Epstein-related documents continue to be released, the facts now on record tell a story the legacy media long ignored.
Donald Trump did not protect Jeffrey Epstein.
He reported him.
For Americans who value truth over propaganda, the unsealed document stands as a long-overdue correction to years of politically motivated distortion.
Bottom line: when others stayed silent, Trump picked up the phone.
