Trump to Xi: Don’t Touch Taiwan—America Is Watching!

President Donald J. Trump is once again proving why America—and the free world—needs his leadership. Ahead of his highly anticipated meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, President Trump made it clear that he’s not backing down on the issues that matter most: Taiwan’s sovereignty, Hong Kong’s political prisoners, fair trade for American farmers, and global peace through strength.

Speaking from the South Lawn of the White House and later aboard Air Force One, Trump laid out a sweeping agenda that reflects both his America First philosophy and his iron commitment to justice. “We have a lot of things to discuss, including our farmers,” Trump told reporters. “Some trade deals were broken, some not—but I think it’s going to be a very good meeting.”

While the Biden administration once bowed to Beijing and allowed the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to grow stronger and bolder, Trump is taking the fight directly to Xi—not with empty words or photo ops, but with the moral conviction of a leader who values freedom, faith, and the rule of law.

Among the most significant topics Trump will raise is Taiwan, the democratic island that has stood as a beacon of liberty in the shadow of communist China’s aggression. “I’ll be talking about Taiwan. A lot of respect for Taiwan,” Trump said. His words send a clear message to Beijing: America stands with the free people of Taiwan—not with the tyrants in Beijing who threaten them.

Trump also made it clear he will confront Xi over the imprisonment of Jimmy Lai, the courageous Christian media tycoon and founder of Apple Daily, who has languished in a Hong Kong prison since 2020. Lai’s only “crime” was believing in freedom and exposing communist corruption. Trump’s decision to bring up Lai’s case shows a rare and refreshing moral clarity—a sharp contrast to globalist leaders who ignore the suffering of dissidents for the sake of trade deals.

“I’m gonna ask,” Trump said firmly. “It’s been a long time and it’ll be on my list.” Those simple words carry the weight of truth and courage that the world has missed for too long.

Trump’s upcoming talks with Xi will also touch on Russia’s war in Ukraine, a conflict the Biden era mishandled from the start. Trump’s approach is straightforward: peace through power, negotiation through respect, and diplomacy rooted in strength—not weakness.

What’s clear is that President Trump’s return to global diplomacy signals a new chapter of American leadership—one that rejects appeasement, defends the persecuted, and restores America’s role as the moral compass of the world.

Once again, Donald Trump is showing what real presidential leadership looks like: bold, patriotic, and guided by principle—not politics.

While global elites tremble at the idea of confronting the CCP, Trump stands tall for freedom, faith, and the forgotten farmer.

America is back—and the world knows it.
