TRUMP STRIKES BACK: Demands Hamas Surrender, Sanctions Palestinian Leaders, Warns Canada and others Over Statehood

In a bold move that reflects his America First foreign policy and unwavering support for Israel, President Donald J. Trump on Thursday called on the terrorist group Hamas to surrender immediately and release all remaining Israeli hostages if they want to see an end to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Posting on his Truth Social platform, President Trump stated clearly and unapologetically:

“The fastest way to end the Humanitarian Crises in Gaza is for Hamas to SURRENDER AND RELEASE THE HOSTAGES!!!”

This direct and unmistakable demand marks a dramatic return to strength in American foreign policy, sharply contrasting with the Biden-era appeasement and ambiguity. For the Trump administration, there are no blurred lines: peace will come when terror is defeated — not rewarded.

In conjunction with the President’s post, the Trump administration announced a fresh round of sanctions on both the Palestinian Authority (PA) and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), citing their attempts to bypass direct negotiations with Israel by lobbying the United Nations for statehood.

“These groups have no legitimacy in dictating peace when they continue to partner with Hamas and push propaganda while Israelis remain in captivity,” a senior administration official stated.

The sanctions bar key Palestinian officials from traveling to the United States, including for the upcoming United Nations General Assembly in September. This sends a clear signal: the Trump White House will not allow America's soil to be used as a platform for anti-Israel posturing.

Adding fuel to the fire, President Trump also issued a stern warning to Canada, after Prime Minister Mark Carney announced Ottawa would align with France and the UK in recognizing a Palestinian state at the UN this fall.

“If Canada moves forward with this, there will be serious trade consequences,” Trump warned during an impromptu press interaction at the White House. “We will not stand by while our allies enable terrorists and undermine peace in the region.”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt doubled down during Thursday’s press briefing:

“The president believes that recognizing a Palestinian state while Hamas continues to hold Israeli hostages is a slap in the face to every freedom-loving nation. It sends the wrong message — that terrorism pays off.”

After years of globalist weakness and woke foreign policy failures, America finally has a president who understands the world’s evil and isn’t afraid to call it out. Trump’s words are not just rhetoric — they’re policy. He knows the only path to peace is strength, not compromise with terror organizations.

The international Left, through unelected bureaucrats and ivory tower elites, has long tried to pressure Israel into concessions while ignoring Hamas’s war crimes and genocidal goals. But Trump is flipping that script — reminding the world that Israel is America’s greatest ally, and that Hamas is the true cause of suffering in Gaza.

This is not about denying humanitarian aid — it’s about stopping the abuse of humanitarian aid by terrorists. It’s about refusing to recognize a “state” whose supposed leaders are still blowing up buses and hiding behind children.

Once again, Trump is showing the world how a real leader stands up for allies, confronts evil, and protects American values on the world stage.
