Trump’s Loudest Congressional Enemy Just Got Sent Home by Texas Voters

The political downfall of longtime Texas Democrat Al Green is more than just another primary upset — it is a warning shot from voters exhausted by years of anti-Trump obsession.

Green, one of the most aggressive enemies of President Donald Trump, lost his Democratic primary runoff in Texas to fellow Democrat Christian Menefee after a bitter campaign shaped by redistricting and growing voter frustration.

For years, Green built his national reputation not by delivering prosperity for Texans, but by launching impeachment crusades against Trump and creating political theater during presidential speeches. He repeatedly interrupted Trump addresses to Congress and openly declared he would continue confronting the president “face-to-face.”

But in 2026, even Democratic voters in Houston appeared ready to move on.

The defeat comes at a moment when the MAGA movement continues reshaping American politics. Across Texas, Trump-backed conservatives scored major victories, proving once again that the America First movement remains the dominant political force in the nation.

Green’s removal from Congress symbolizes the collapse of the old anti-Trump resistance machine that spent years focused on investigations, impeachments, and media spectacles while ordinary Americans demanded border security, economic strength, and national pride.

The message from Texas is becoming impossible for the radical Left to ignore: voters are tired of politicians whose entire careers revolve around hatred for Trump.

And now, one of the loudest voices of that resistance movement is gone.
