Megyn Kelly’s Latest Anti-Trump Tirade Sparks Conservative Backlash

Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly is facing fierce backlash from Trump supporters after launching a stunning public attack on President Donald Trump, accusing him of cheating “on every wife he’s had” and reviving decades-old allegations involving Ivana Trump during a recent podcast appearance.

The remarks shocked many conservatives, especially because Kelly once endorsed Trump and publicly praised his leadership during the 2024 election. Critics across conservative media blasted Kelly for repeating old establishment media narratives and giving ammunition to the radical left at a time when Trump remains under constant political and media attack. Many MAGA supporters accused Kelly of betraying the movement that helped revive her political relevance.

Kelly’s comments came during a discussion about former Trump official Joe Kent and the growing divide inside the America First movement over foreign policy and the Iran conflict. During the interview, Kelly claimed Trump had “cheated on every wife” and referenced controversial allegations from Trump’s divorce with Ivana Trump in the early 1990s — allegations Ivana later clarified were not meant “in a literal or criminal sense.”

Trump supporters online immediately fired back, arguing that Kelly sounded more like CNN or MSNBC than a conservative voice. Others pointed out that Americans voted for Trump because of his policies, leadership, and fight against the establishment — not because they viewed him as morally perfect. Many conservatives also criticized Kelly for attacking Trump while he continues battling globalist pressure, anti-American forces abroad, and relentless political persecution at home.

The controversy highlights the widening split between establishment conservative media personalities and the MAGA grassroots movement, which still overwhelmingly stands behind President Trump heading into another critical political season.

Capitol Times Magazine Editor-in-Chief Anil Anwar strongly criticized Kelly’s remarks, calling them “disgraceful attacks designed to weaken conservative unity while President Trump continues fighting for America.”

“Megyn Kelly built much of her modern conservative audience around the America First movement and support from Trump voters,” Anil Anwar said. “Now she is repeating establishment media talking points that the left has pushed for decades. Conservatives are tired of seeing media personalities attack President Trump whenever pressure from the liberal media intensifies.”

Anwar added that the American people support Trump because of his leadership, border security policies, economic vision, defense of Christianity, and willingness to fight against globalist influence.

“President Trump is not worshipped as a perfect man by conservatives,” Anwar stated. “He is respected because he fights for America while many elites in media and Washington work against the nation’s values. Kelly’s comments only help the anti-Trump machine that wants to destroy the America First movement.”

The controversy once again exposes growing tensions inside conservative media between establishment commentators and the MAGA grassroots base, which remains overwhelmingly loyal to President Trump heading deeper into the 2026 political battles.
