Trump Administration Cuts Off Minnesota After “Billions Siphoned Off by Fraudsters”

The era of blank checks for Democrat-run corruption is over.

U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins delivered a thunderous warning to Minnesota’s political class on Friday, announcing that the Trump administration is suspending federal financial awards to the State of Minnesota and the City of Minneapolis after uncovering what she described as massive, systemic fraud.

In a blistering social media post, Rollins revealed that President Donald Trump’s administration has exposed a staggering level of abuse:

“Enough is enough! The Trump administration has uncovered MASSIVE fraud in Minnesota and Minneapolis—billions siphoned off by fraudsters. And those in charge have ZERO plan to fix it.
Today, @USDA is SUSPENDING FEDERAL FINANCIAL AWARDS to Minnesota and Minneapolis, effective immediately, until sufficient proof has been provided that the fraud has stopped. No more handouts to thieves! Time to drain the Minnesota swamp and put American taxpayers first.”

The move sends shockwaves through a state long governed by progressive politicians who have treated federal programs like an open vault.

In a formal letter to Governor Tim Walz (D) and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (D), Rollins did not mince words:

“The widespread and systemic fraud associated with federal benefit programs in the State of Minnesota and the City of Minneapolis demonstrate an inability to handle federal resources without additional oversight and accountability measures in place.”

She specifically cited the infamous $250 million “Feeding Our Future” scheme, along with alleged abuses involving Small Business Administration Paycheck Protection Program funds and fraudulent daycare operations.

Rollins continued:

“While the full extent of fraud in Minnesota is not yet known, it is clear that, under your leadership — or lack thereof — fraudsters can take advantage of federal funds and the American taxpayer with impunity. This necessitates federal action to protect taxpayer dollars until adequate safeguards can be established.”

The message is clear: clean up the mess, or lose the money.

For years, hardworking Americans have watched their tax dollars disappear into Democrat-run bureaucracies with no accountability. Under President Trump, that ends.

The message from Washington is unmistakable: the days of “handouts to thieves” are over. The swamp—even in Minnesota—is finally being drained.
