The incident, which prompted a swift response from local law enforcement, led to temporary road closures in the surrounding area. Branch Avenue and Iverson Street, along with Iverson Street and 28th Avenue, were blocked off to ensure public safety during the investigation.

After a complete sweep of the area, officials determined that there was no threat to the public. The package was deemed non-hazardous, and the mall was cleared for reopening. All affected roads have since been reopened, and traffic in the area has resumed normal operations.
