Republican leader McConnell told top US executives: 'Stay out of politics, warning of' consequences'

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell slammed US companies on Monday and warned chief executives to stay out of the debate over Georgia's new voting law that has been criticized for restricting voting among minorities and minorities.

Pointing to a growing gap in the decades-long alliance between the Conservative Party and US corporations, McConnell said, "My advice to US corporate executives is to stay out of politics. Don't pick both sides in these big battles."

Georgia's top employers, Coca-Cola and Delta Air Lines have spoken out against the law signed by Governor Brian Kemp, pulling Major League Baseball's 2021 All-Star Game from the state over a law that strengthened requirements for recognition of absentee ballots and criminalized serving of food or water. For voters waiting in line.
