President Donald Trump has pardoned Gen. Michael Flynn.

“It is my Great Honor to announce that General Michael T. Flynn has been granted a Full Pardon. Congratulations to @GenFlynn and his wonderful family, I know you will now have a truly fantastic Thanksgiving,” the president wrote on Twitter.

In response, General Flynn shared a Bible verse on Twitter, Jeremiah 1:19.

“They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you, declares the Lord,” the verse reads.

Amen and thank you, President Trump!

Flynn, a retired Army general, pleaded guilty in 2017 to lying to the FBI about his interactions with the Russian ambassador to the United States in the weeks leading up to President Trump's inauguration.
