NY, Florida is tells hospitals to distribute COVID-19 vaccines faster or else supplies will be lost

New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo said at a press conference on Monday that New York State will begin to fine hospitals that fail to administer designated COVID-19 vaccines within a week of receiving their supplies and will refuse to provide them with further doses.

In Florida, where officials put elderly people ahead of many essential workers to receive the vaccine, Governor Ron DeSantis announced a policy under which the state would allocate doses to hospitals that would dispense them more quickly.
