NEW YORK’S RADICAL MAYOR-ELECT FLIRTS WITH ARRESTING FEDERAL AGENTS AS SANCTUARY CITY EXTREMISM ESCALATES

In a stunning display of anti-law-enforcement extremism, New York City Mayor-Elect Zohran Mamdani (D) signaled Wednesday that his administration may consider arresting federal ICE agents for doing their jobs—protecting America’s borders and removing criminal illegal aliens.

During an interview with MS NOW’s Jacob Soboroff, Mamdani doubled down on his sanctuary-city absolutism, declaring that the NYPD under his control will be ordered not to assist ICE in immigration enforcement. Even more disturbing, he suggested that ICE agents—federal officers enforcing federal law—could face NYPD arrest if his administration decides they’ve “broken the law.”

Soboroff pressed the issue, asking if Mamdani envisioned a scenario where ICE agents could be arrested on the streets of New York. Instead of rejecting such an unprecedented assault on federal authority, Mamdani opened the door wide, insisting that “no one is above the law”—a phrase Democrats never apply to criminal migrants but now aim squarely at the officers trying to protect American communities.

Mamdani’s rhetoric exposes the dangerous ideological shift gripping major Democrat cities: elevate illegal immigrants, demonize federal law enforcement, and weaponize local police against those defending America’s borders.

At a time when New Yorkers are already fleeing rising crime, Mamdani appears poised to turn the nation’s largest city into a full-scale sanctuary fortress—one where criminals are shielded and law-abiding Americans are left to fend for themselves.
