MSNBC Fires Matthew Dowd After Disgusting Comments Blaming Charlie Kirk for His Own Assassination

In a shocking display of media bias and moral bankruptcy, MSNBC has fired political analyst Matthew Dowd after he suggested that conservative leader Charlie Kirk’s so-called “hateful rhetoric” somehow led to his own assassination.

Dowd disgracefully speculated on live television that the murder might even have been a supporter “shooting in celebration.” Such vile commentary reveals not only his disdain for Kirk but also the broader contempt the left holds for conservatives across America.

MSNBC President Rebecca Kutler scrambled to contain the fallout, calling Dowd’s comments “inappropriate, insensitive and unacceptable.” But let’s be clear: this isn’t just about one analyst going too far. It’s about a network that has fostered a culture of hatred against conservatives, then hides behind half-hearted apologies when their pundits say the quiet part out loud.

For years, MSNBC and its media allies have painted Trump supporters, Turning Point USA members, and conservative Christians as “dangerous extremists.” Is it any surprise that when real violence occurs, left-wing commentators instinctively blame the victim?

Charlie Kirk was a fighter for freedom, faith, and America First values. To suggest he brought this tragedy upon himself is beyond reprehensible—it is victim-blaming at its ugliest. Conservatives should never forget how quickly the left will turn on our dead, even as families mourn.

Dowd’s firing is not accountability—it’s damage control. The truth is that MSNBC only acted after immense public backlash. If America is going to heal, it will not be through the poison of media elites like Dowd who excuse violence against conservatives while preaching “tolerance.”

Charlie Kirk’s legacy will live on in the movement he helped build. And no amount of media spin will erase the fact that he assassinated because someone hated his values—not because he spoke them.
