Mamdani’s Sanctuary Madness: Open Borders Radical Promises to Shield Criminal Illegals from Trump’s ICE

ree

In a stunning display of far-left arrogance, New York City mayoral hopeful Zohran Mamdani once again proved he’s more loyal to illegal immigrants than to American citizens. During a press conference this week, Mamdani — an immigrant from Uganda and a self-described socialist — defiantly vowed to fight against any Trump administration effort to restore law and order through Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) or the National Guard.

Instead of supporting President Trump’s renewed push to deport violent illegal aliens and secure America’s cities, Mamdani doubled down on defending New York’s “sanctuary city” policies — laws that prevent local police from cooperating with ICE, even when it comes to arresting and deporting dangerous criminal aliens.

“I will not be the mayor that we have today who went on national television and opened the door to civil immigration enforcement,” Mamdani said. “I will be the mayor that stands up for our sanctuary city policies, that stands up for every New Yorker’s right to live in this city, and the mayor who will hold everyone accountable to the law, no matter who they are.”

Mamdani declared — but what about the rights of victims brutalized by repeat offenders who never should have been in America to begin with? What about the citizens living in fear because politicians like Mamdani care more about political correctness than public safety?

President Trump has made it clear: the days of open-border anarchy are over. The federal government has every right — and duty — to protect its citizens from illegal criminals, regardless of how many radical Democrats or “progressive” city officials stand in the way.

Mamdani’s comments expose the rot at the heart of New York’s political leadership. Instead of upholding the law, he’s calling federal enforcement a “moral stain.” In truth, the stain is on those who turn a blind eye to crime for the sake of woke ideology.

As Trump restores law and order across America, the question remains: will New Yorkers continue to elect leaders who put illegal aliens before their own people? Or will they finally stand with a president who believes America — and Americans — come first?

Mamdani’s radical stance isn’t just naïve — it’s dangerous. Every city that shelters illegals invites chaos, and every official who blocks ICE betrays the oath to protect citizens. President Trump’s plan to empower ICE and, if necessary, the National Guard is not an act of aggression; it’s an act of patriotism. America must never be held hostage by left-wing sanctuary zealots who despise borders, law enforcement, and American sovereignty.
