It's bad news for Democrats that Tulsi Gabbard is leaving: Newt Gingrich Says

Tulsi Gabbard's resignation as a member of the Democratic Party signals more departures from the Democratic Party, according to Republican former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

Former House speaker Newt Gingrich adds “we have certainly seen a huge drift towards the Republican Party among Latinos like the Democrats as they are driving them away by the weirder policies of the Democratic Party.”

“I think when she ran for president, she realized how really isolated she was from the great majority of the Democratic Party, which is now, frankly, a pretty weird party,” Gingrich told Fox News on Tuesday. “We saw the same thing happen in a slightly different way in Philadelphia last week, where the former deputy mayor, a Democrat, endorsed Dr. [Mehmet] Oz for the U.S. Senate and said that John Fetterman is just so crazy on crime and so pro-criminal, he couldn’t be for him.”

The reason why she is leaving the Democratic Party, according to Gabbard, is because it represents the “powerful elite,” not normal people.

Gabbard, a Democratic presidential candidate in 2020, did not announce her next move. Democrat Tulsi Gabbard will campaign for Republican Sen. Don Bolduc in New Hampshire on Wednesday, Bolduc wrote.
