According to emails which Fox Business obtained recently, Hunter Biden, the second son of U.S. President Joe Biden, once owned a stake in a Chinese company owned by senior Chinese party officials.

He owns 5 percent of Harves Amusement Parks and sports and entertainment business Harves Sports and Entertainment according to an email he received from his business associate Eric Schwerin in March 2017. It is unclear if Hunter still holds any investment in the company.

According to the website of Harvest Century Group, the company is headquartered in Shenyang, the capital of northeastern China's Liaoning Province, and it has a U.S. affiliate in Washington, D.C. According to Harves, it offers "unique experiences that blend sports, entertainment, art, food, music, and fashion," and it is a partner of the NBA and Manchester United.

Fox reported the Harves Century Group has the support of China's state-owned China Development Bank. It names Shao Jinglan as its chairwoman on its website.
