BREAKING: West Virginia Librarian Arrested for Attempted Recruitment to Assassinate Donald Trump — A Stark Reminder of Radical Left Mania

In a jaw-dropping expose of how far the radical left has sunk, 39-year-old Morgan L. Morrow — a librarian employed by the Jackson County Public Library — was taken into custody after authorities say she used social media to actively recruit people online to murder President Donald J. Trump.

Jackson County Sheriff’s investigators announced Sunday night that Morrow’s alleged actions went well beyond mere ranting — she didn't just spew hate, she asked for help finding the kind of person who would execute political violence. Deputies stated the disturbing social-media video was widely interpreted as a call to arms, not simply idle online rage.

According to court documents, one now-removed TikTok video included a chilling remark suggesting a “sniper with a terminal illness” shouldn’t be hard to find in America’s 343 million population — a statement law enforcement took as direct encouragement of politically motivated assassination.

Authorities from the Jackson County Bureau of Investigations moved swiftly to arrest Morrow at her home after learning of the posts, transporting her to South Central Regional Jail where she now faces a terroristic-threats charge. The sheriff’s office alerted both the FBI and Secret Service of the situation.

Sheriff Ross Mellinger put it bluntly:

“It’s okay to be critical of your government, but advancing violence and trying to recruit others across social media to commit murder? That crosses the line into criminal terroristic threats — and it will be treated as such.”

The Jackson County Public Library hastened to distance itself from Morrow’s rhetoric, insisting the librarian’s views were hers alone and didn’t reflect the institution’s values. Yet the backlash has been swift. Many Americans are questioning how someone entrusted with shaping young minds ended up spearheading a vile threat against a political figure.

Conservatives nationwide have seized on the incident as a warning — a symptom of an increasingly emboldened left that not only vilifies Trump and his supporters but actively promotes violence against them. In a political era already marked by discord, this astonishing arrest underscores a chilling truth: political violence is no longer fringe rhetoric when it’s cheered on in comment threads and broadcast out to thousands.

As the nation watches the legal process unfold in West Virginia, the verdict on this case will be closely followed — not just for the individual involved, but for what it signifies about the safety of American political discourse in 2026.
