Writer: Capitol TimesCapitol Times

Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee sent a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Democrat from California) on Tuesday, criticizing their choice of Russell Honorary to lead the Capitol Violation Review on January 6.

The letter, signed by 17 Republican lawmakers, questions Honore's impartiality given his derogatory statements about the United States Capitol Police and members of Congress.

In the letter, Republicans noted, Honore described the US Capitol Police as “hats [expletive]” for requiring them to follow security protocols during a visit to the Capitol.
