THAT WAS AN UNBELIEVABLE FINISH

The 2026 MLB Home Run hitting contest was so much fun and ended in dramatic fashion.

I Hope you got to witness this fun event to start the Major League Baseball All Star

festivities-- if not, here's what you missed.


The annual MLB Home Run hitting contest had some changes this year with 8 hitters

getting 20 swings in the first round and 15 in each of the final two rounds -- however a home

run on your last swing each round would allow you another swing-- and after fourth year

Major League outfielder Jordan Walker of the St. Louis Cardinals hit his 4th consecutive

Home Run in the final Round, after being down 11-8 with just 1 swing remaining he came

from behind to win the MLB Home Run Derby --a night he and the nation won't soon forget -

- especially the fans in Philadelphia.


Walker's amazing feat in the Championship Round took the air out of both hometown

favorite Kyle Schwarber who set the stage with 11 HR's to begin the final round and the

Fans in Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia-- totaling 12 HR's after four consecutive HR's to

win the 2026 MlB home run Derby.


Both Walker and Schwarber totaled 19 Home Runs after out hitting their opponents to win

Rd's 1 & 2 to set up the Final Rd for the HR Derby Championship title.


Jordan Walker was drafted in the first round of the 2020 by the St. Louis Cardinals after

graduating from High School , he played three years in the minor leagues before making his

Big League debut in 2023.


Tonight's home run Derby victory adds to a breakout season for Jordan Walker who has 22

homers this season after totaling 49 in his first 3 full seasons playing for the St Louis

Cardinals.


This new format was fun and led to a Great event for MLB and I'm glad I watched it.

I Hope the American League vs National League All Star game (Tuesday, 8pm EST) is as

entertaining as tonights contest -- we shall see‼️
