Texas Governor Greg Abbott criticized the state Democrats who fled to Washington, D.C. Monday to deny lawmakers a quorum and the ability to vote on the Republican Party's sweeping electoral reform bill.

Abbott appeared at "Ingraham Angel" Monday to defend the law and say that the missing lawmakers will be arrested on their return to the state. He said members of the Texas House of Representatives who are still in the state can request the arrest of colleagues who do not show up to vote. The only restriction is that the arrest must take place in the state.

"Once they step back into the state they will be arrested and brought back to the Capitol and we will be conducting business," Texas Governor Greg Abbott said.
