Terror in London: Jewish Men Stabbed as UK Declares Terror Incident

LONDON — In a chilling act of violence that has sent shockwaves across the Western world, two Jewish men were brutally stabbed in the heart of London’s Jewish community in Golders Green—an attack now officially declared a terrorist incident by British authorities.

According to multiple international reports, including Reuters and The Guardian, a 45-year-old attacker armed with a knife targeted Jewish civilians in broad daylight, leaving two victims—one in his 70s and another in his 30s—injured but alive and in stable condition.

The suspect was subdued with a taser and taken into custody after reportedly attempting to attack even responding police officers. Authorities are now investigating the motive, with strong indications pointing toward antisemitism and possible extremist links.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the attack as “utterly appalling,” as counter-terrorism units took over the investigation. Meanwhile, Jewish leaders and Israeli officials warned that Jews in London are increasingly unsafe, with one official stating it has become “dangerous to openly walk the streets as a Jew.”

This attack is not an isolated incident. It comes amid a disturbing surge of antisemitic violence across the United Kingdom, including arson attacks on Jewish institutions and growing fears of foreign-backed extremist networks operating on British soil.

Golders Green—long seen as a safe haven for Jewish life—is now the latest symbol of a deeper crisis gripping Europe: rising extremism, weakening law enforcement control, and a failure to protect vulnerable communities.

As investigations continue, one reality is becoming impossible to ignore—terror is no longer knocking at Europe’s door. It is already inside.
