Russia Takes a Bold Stand for Moral Order — America Must Reclaim Its Christian Foundations

Today, while much of the West continues its descent into moral relativism, Russia has drawn a line in the sand. The Russian government officially designated the international LGBTQ movement as an extremist organization, banning its public promotion, symbolism, and activism. To some, this is controversial. To others—especially those of us who still believe in absolute truth—this is a nation finally saying: enough.

For decades, Western institutions have embraced and promoted an agenda that celebrates sexual confusion and tears down the biblical foundations of family, identity, and societal order. What used to be called sin is now called “bravery.” What once held nations together—faith, family, moral clarity—has been replaced with rainbow flags and parades that mock the sacred.

Russia’s move, while stark, reflects a growing frustration with the relentless pressure from global organizations and media empires that expect every nation to bow to the same radical ideologies. Instead, they’ve chosen to protect their cultural heritage, national stability, and—yes—their children.

It’s time for America to take note.

Under President Donald Trump, the United States began to push back against the aggressive expansion of woke ideology. His administration restored religious liberty, fought for the unborn, and stood with families. But we must go further. We must defend the truth—not just in words, but in law and policy. That includes rejecting the forced normalization of radical gender theory in our schools, media, and public institutions.

Critics will say that such policies are “anti-freedom.” But true freedom is not license to do whatever we want—it’s the ability to live in truth, guided by moral law. A society that loses its sense of right and wrong is not free; it is enslaved to confusion.

Russia’s decision sends a signal to the world: the days of bowing to the LGBTQ agenda may be coming to an end. Will America have the courage to stand for truth again?

Let us pray for wisdom, boldness, and leaders who fear God more than the opinions of the world.
