Mojtaba Khamenei’s Hollow Vengeance: Iran’s Wounded “Supreme Leader” Threatens America as Trump Stands Ready to Crush the Khamenei’s Regime Once and For All

In the crumbling ruins of the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism, a ghost is issuing threats. Mojtaba Khamenei — the unelected, unaccountable son of the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei — has reportedly released a statement vowing “revenge” against the United States for the righteous elimination of his father during President Donald Trump’s decisive Operation Epic Fury.

This is not the voice of a confident ruler. It is the desperate howl of a regime on its knees. Mojtaba, who slithered into the “supreme leader” role after Trump’s forces took out the elder Khamenei in February, has been invisible to his own people. No public appearances. No audio recordings. Just a single dubious TV appearance in outdated footage. Iranian state media now reads his words aloud while rumors swirl of facial disfigurement, severe injury, or worse from the very strikes that ended his father’s bloody reign.

The timing is no coincidence. As formal burial rites for the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei wrapped up — deliberately staged around America’s 250th birthday celebrations on July 4 — three of Mojtaba’s brothers showed up. The “supreme leader” himself? Nowhere to be found. While regime propagandists bused in crowds waving banners calling for President Trump’s death, the supposed head of state hid in the shadows.

Power Vacuum and IRGC Treachery

This leadership vacuum has ignited open warfare between Iran’s fractured factions. The civilian side signed a memorandum of understanding with the U.S. in late June, agreeing to halt disruptions in the critical Strait of Hormuz. But the terrorist IRGC — the regime’s fanatical enforcers — immediately violated it, launching attacks on commercial shipping and targeting vessels linked to Arab neighbors.

The response was swift and American: U.S. kinetic strikes followed, met by further IRGC provocations against Kuwait, Bahrain, and others. Ceasefire? Shattered by Tehran’s own hand.

President Trump rightly declared it over this weekend, even as fragile talks supposedly continue.

In the message, Mojtaba Khamenei declared that avenging his father's death "must certainly" happen and warned that those responsible would never enjoy peace. He further claimed that "free-spirited people throughout the world" would each carry out part of what he described as a "divine mission," language that Western analysts are likely to interpret as an effort to encourage proxy terrorist attacks beyond Iran's borders.

The latest threat comes as Tehran appears increasingly divided. Iran's civilian leadership has attempted to preserve diplomatic contacts with Washington following a memorandum of understanding reached in late June regarding security in the Strait of Hormuz. Yet the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has continued launching attacks against regional shipping and neighboring Gulf states, undermining diplomatic efforts and triggering renewed U.S. military responses. The conflicting actions have reinforced perceptions of a fractured Iranian power structure.

President Trump, as always, meets weakness with strength. In a New York Post interview, he acknowledged Iran’s long-standing assassination plots against him and revealed he has left ironclad instructions: Any harm to him triggers overwhelming retaliation the likes of which the Islamic Republic has never seen.

This is leadership. This is America First restored. After decades of feckless appeasement under previous administrations that enriched the mullahs and empowered their terror empire, Trump acted decisively. Operation Epic Fury dismantled key leadership, crippled nuclear ambitions, and gave the Iranian people a genuine shot at freedom from theocratic tyranny.

The left, the globalist media, and the usual defeatist chorus will wring their hands over “escalation.” They always do. But conservatives understand the truth: Radical Islamists only respect overwhelming force. Weakness invites attack. Strength deters it. Iran’s economy is in tatters, its proxies reeling, its shipping lanes under pressure, and its “supreme leader” a wounded recluse issuing empty fatwas from the bunker.

Mojtaba’s threats reveal the regime’s panic. They lash out at neighbors because they cannot win against a resurgent America. They invoke religious vengeance because their ideology is bankrupt and their military options exhausted.

America does not negotiate with terrorists from a position of fear. President Trump has made that clear. The IRGC must be dismantled. Shipping lanes secured. Nuclear sites permanently neutralized. And the Iranian people — long oppressed by this medieval death cult — deserve the chance to chart a future free of Khamenei bloodline tyranny.

President Trump announced the restoration of a U.S.-led blockade on Iran following renewed attacks in the Strait of Hormuz, declaring that the United States would ensure freedom of navigation through one of the world's most critical energy corridors.

The latest developments underscore the continued volatility of the Iranian regime. Whether Mojtaba Khamenei is governing from behind closed doors due to serious injuries or whether rival factions are increasingly directing policy in his name, Tehran's latest rhetoric signals that the regime remains committed to confrontation with the United States rather than meaningful de-escalation. While Iranian state television broadcasts promises of revenge, Washington has made clear that any attack on American interests will be met with overwhelming military force.
