Ron Johnson on April 3 said several major publications were “caught in a cover-up” concerning the Hunter Biden laptop story.

In almost two years after the New York Post first reported on Hunter Biden's laptop shortly before the 2020 election, the Washington Post and the New York Times published articles verifying its authenticity.

The New York Times and The Washington Post have declared in recent days that the media was complicit in concealing Hunter Biden's laptop ahead of the 2020 presidential election, Senator Johnson said on Fox News Channel's "Sunday Morning Futures."

Former President Donald Trump claimed that Joe Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion from Ukraine if a prosecutor investigating Burisma Holdings was removed.
