Maine Republican is considering blaming Susan Collins for Trump's condemnation vote

The Republican Party in Maine is considering blaming Senator Susan Collins (a Republican from the Middle East) for her decision to side with Democrats and vote to condemn former President Trump for inciting disobedience in connection with the January 6 protests at the United States Capitol.


Maine Republican Party chairman Demi Cosunas admitted that many members were "upset about what happened" after Collins voted to convict on Saturday and asked them to stay "prepared for a future emergency state committee meeting."


Republican leaders met with Republican county chiefs Monday to discuss possible censorship, which the enforcer said "may come at a special meeting of the state committee at the end of the month:"
