President Joe Biden assured European leaders on Friday that he would work with them again and apologized for the approach of former President Trump during his tenure.

"I am sending a clear message to the world that America is back ... We are not looking back, we are looking together," Biden said.

The president made statements practically from the White House at the Munich Security Conference on Friday.

"The past four years have been difficult, but Europe and the United States have to lead efficiently again," he said.

While Trump's name was not explicitly mentioned in his speech, Biden has repeatedly expressed his regret for the damage inflicted on European relations with the United States and pledged to return to what they were before.
