In a stunning reversal, former ESPN commentator and radical leftist Jemele Hill quietly erased a social media post that falsely blamed Charlie Kirk’s assassination on a “white supremacist” plot. Hill had eagerly pushed the narrative that the conservative activist was targeted by right-wing extremists, citing an alleged expert analysis of the shooter’s bullet casings.

The post, which appeared on Hill’s left-leaning BlueSky account on September 12, referenced Joan Donovan, a Boston University assistant journalism professor, who claimed the etchings on the bullets indicated a right-wing connection. Hill crowed about the supposed “white supremacist gang hit,” even while labeling Kirk himself a white supremacist.
However, new evidence from the FBI completely upends Hill’s story. The accused killer is now confirmed to be a far-left extremist, an Antifa sympathizer, a supporter of transgender causes, and openly hostile toward Christians and Charlie Kirk. Following the revelation, Hill deleted her post without issuing any correction or apology.
Conservatives say this episode highlights the dangerous bias of mainstream leftist media figures who rush to exploit tragedies for political points, spreading misinformation about innocent conservatives. In this case, Jemele Hill’s eagerness to paint Charlie Kirk as a victim of a right-wing conspiracy collapsed under the weight of the facts.
The incident serves as a stark reminder of the left’s ongoing campaign to demonize conservatives, even in the face of irrefutable evidence, and underscores the critical importance of media accountability in reporting sensitive events.
