French President Macron’s Surrender to Terror: France Moves to Reward Palestinian Violence with Statehood

Washington, D.C.: In a move that reeks of appeasement and moral cowardice, French President Emmanuel Macron has announced plans to formally recognize the so-called “State of Palestine” later this year — a diplomatic betrayal that has drawn fierce condemnation from Israel and raised alarms among freedom-loving nations across the West.

Israeli officials wasted no time slamming Macron’s reckless proposal, warning that “such a move rewards terror and risks creating another Iranian proxy in the heart of the Middle East.” And they’re absolutely right.

Let’s be clear: the “State of Palestine” is not a peaceful democracy yearning for coexistence. It is a fractured, terror-drenched entity run by Hamas thugs in Gaza and corrupt Fatah elites in the West Bank — both deeply tied to Tehran and committed to the destruction of Israel. Recognizing it now, especially in the wake of recent terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians, is nothing short of surrender to jihadism.

Yet Macron, desperate to reclaim global relevance and appease the radical Left at home, seems willing to toss Israel — the only stable democracy in the Middle East — under the bus for the sake of optics. It's appeasement 101, and we've seen this story before: remember Neville Chamberlain?

This move does nothing to advance peace. It will embolden terrorists, destabilize the region, and put Israeli — and Western — lives at greater risk. And worst of all, it hands a symbolic victory to Iran, which funds, trains, and arms Hamas and Islamic Jihad with the ultimate goal of wiping Israel off the map.

Make no mistake — this is not about peace or diplomacy. This is about progressives rewriting reality to suit their ideological narrative, one where terrorists are freedom fighters, and Israel is the villain.

It’s a dangerous lie, and France should be ashamed.

America must stand with Israel, now more than ever. President Trump has already made it clear that the U.S. will never support any recognition of Palestinian statehood without total and permanent demilitarization, full recognition of Israel as a Jewish state, and the disbanding of all terror organizations.

France is choosing the wrong side of history. But as Americans — as Christians, patriots, and defenders of freedom — we choose truth over lies, allies over enemies, and strength over surrender.
