Former President Donald Trump, the leading contender for the GOP presidential nomination in 2024, is scheduled to participate in a town hall event hosted by Fox News, according to sources familiar with the matter. The town hall, which will be pre-taped, is set to take place in Clive, Iowa, on June 1 and will air at 9 p.m. ET later that day. The event aims to provide Trump with an opportunity to address a range of topics related to the upcoming 2024 presidential race.

Fox News spokesperson, in confirmation with NTD, announced early on Friday that the town hall would be moderated by Sean Hannity, the host of the popular primetime program "The Sean Hannity Show." Hannity, known for his conservative views, will engage in discussions with Trump and field questions from the live audience.

This town hall follows Trump's recent appearance on CNN, where he participated in a similar event for the first time in several years. The town hall, held at Saint Anselm College, marked Trump's return to CNN since his presidency began in 2016. It also served as a significant televised event for his 2024 presidential campaign, providing a platform for him to present his vision for the nation.

During the CNN town hall, Trump addressed various pressing issues, including skyrocketing prices, the national debt crisis, the U.S. mental health crisis, and the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. His responses shed light on his proposed strategies to tackle these challenges, allowing the audience to gain insights into his policy priorities for the upcoming campaign.

The upcoming Fox News town hall is expected to provide a platform for Trump to further elaborate on his campaign agenda, allowing viewers to gain a deeper understanding of his policies and vision for the country. As the frontrunner for the GOP nomination, Trump's participation in high-profile events such as town halls helps him connect with potential voters and shape the narrative surrounding his candidacy.

This event will be Trump's second major town hall on a cable news channel since he announced his third campaign for the White House on November 15, 2022, at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. As the 2024 presidential race heats up, Trump continues to engage with the public through various media appearances and events, leveraging his experience as a former president to build support for his bid.

With the town hall set to take place next week, political observers and voters alike will be eagerly anticipating Trump's insights and perspectives on the pressing issues facing the nation as the 2024 presidential campaign gains momentum.
