"On occasion, a suspect in the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moise has been a secret source for the DEA," a DEA official told Fox News and other news outlets on Tuesday.
A Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) official confirmed that a suspect allegedly involved in the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moïse was a former informant to the agency.
The spokesman added that following the murder of President Jovenel Moïse earlier this week, the suspect called his DEA contacts while a DEA official asked him to surrender to local authorities.
