Shasta County has been visited by the FBI. The 2026 Primary Election ballots are now under investigation.
Clint Curtis, Shasta County Registrar of Voters and longtime whistleblower, joins Kim Yeater live on the Take Your Power Back Show to catch America up to speed.
A Whistlebllower Turned Guardian
Long before the FBI ever set foot in Shasta County, the groundwork for this moment was
laid by a man who had seen the vulnerability from the inside.
In the early 2000s, Clint Curtis was asked to write the very code that could flip votes inside
electronic voting machines. That experience never left him. It became the foundation for
everything that followed.
Now serving as Registrar of Voters in Shasta County, California, Curtis faced a different
challenge: a system that still left the ballot box inadequately protected.
His answer was simple, transparent, and proven. Every ballot entering the tabulator would
be videotaped and livestreamed. The chain of custody would be visible. Citizens,
observers, and voters could watch the ballots arrive in real time, count them as they
entered the machine, and—because the footage remained publicly available—rewind and
count them again afterward. No black boxes. No hidden processes. Just open record.
Building a Movement
The Take Our California Back team recognized the power of the method. They brought Clint onto their debate stage alongside gubernatorial and state candidates. There, he demonstrated the system to candidates, other Registrars of Voters, clerks, and supervisors from counties across California. He showed them a practical way to protect the ballot box and, with it, the voice of the people. For many of those candidates, the moment was clarifying. Curtis's history—having written code capable of flipping votes—made the vulnerabilities concrete. The room understood more clearly how elections could be compromised. Armed with a working solution, the candidates left energized, ready to carry the method onto their own platforms and urge its adoption elsewhere.
For the past year, the Take Your Power Back Show and the Take Our California Back movement have spotlighted Shasta—from the Governor Showdown, to reaching all 58 counties, to the Statewide Summit.
The Primaries Arrive—And So Do the Red Flags
When the 2026 primaries arrived, the same patterns of concern reappeared across the
state. In Shasta County, the Take Our California Back teams did what the livestream system
had made possible: they audited the full video record of ballots entering the tabulator.
Irregularities and repeating patterns emerged—ballots that appeared counterfeit.
Evidence and sworn affidavits were delivered to Clint Curtis. He already knew what they
described. From his closer vantage point, physically inserting the ballots into the tabulator,
he had observed the same irregularities and patterns firsthand.
All of the affidavits and supporting evidence were turned over to the Department of Justice.
The matter has been under investigation.
Now the FBI is involved.
A Question That Demands an Answer
Ask yourself: what if this method had never been available? How would anyone have known
there were possible counterfeit ballots in the first place?
Gubernatorial candidate Raji Rab requested a statewide recount after his personal
numbers looked way off—despite a deliberate strategy designed to build and hold a solid
base percentage. The Secretary of State approved that recount for all 58 counties. Yet
without the video record and the on-the-ground observations from Shasta, no one would
have even considered the possibility that the very ballots being recounted could
themselves be counterfeit.
Shasta's Clint Curtis and the Take Our California Back teams opened a can of worms on
what's really happening in California elections. If these patterns are showing up in little old
