Biden erroneously claims that the infrastructure package will create 19 million jobs

President Joe Biden's claim that his $ 2.25 infrastructure package will create 19 million jobs is reportedly inaccurate.

"An independent analysis shows that if we go through this plan, the economy will create 19 million jobs - good jobs, blue-collar jobs, and well-paying jobs," Biden said in an official announcement of the plan.

Biden's figure actually comes from an estimate by Moody's Analytics, which found that the economy will add about 19 million jobs between the fourth quarter of 2020 and the fourth quarter of 2030, Fox Business noted.

But during that 10-year period, the economy is already expected to add about 16.3 million jobs, even if Congress does not pass the infrastructure bill, according to Moody.
