The United States will send Ukraine another $600 million worth of military equipment, Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced on Thursday. Since September last year, Blinken has authorized the 21st reduction in U.S. military inventory.

Additional U.S. weapons, ammunition, and equipment will be shipped to Ukraine as part of the U.S. Department of Defense's ongoing efforts to support the Ukrainian military.

Blinken said the cumulative amount of military assistance the U.S. has provided Ukraine since the beginning of this administration will be approximately $15.8 billion.

“Together with our Allies and partners, we are delivering the arms and equipment that Ukraine’s forces are utilizing so effectively as they continue their successful counter-offensive against Russia’s invasion,” Blinken said in a statement.

Ukraine's people defend and fight for their homeland with admirable grit and determination. As part of our support for Ukraine's defense, the United States provides military assistance alongside its allies and partners from more than 50 countries," Blinken said.
