Four people, including a top emergency official, were rushed to a hospital after a massive fire broke out at a Moscow business center, Russian officials said.

A firefighter and people who were inside the building when the blaze broke out were injured. Sergei Zheltov, the head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry’s Moscow branch, suffered a heart attack while directing the efforts to combat the blaze.

A fire in the west of Russia's capital was attacked by 180 firefighters, dozens of vehicles, and three helicopters.

Alexander Kurenkov, the newly appointed emergency minister for Russia, visited the site in addition to overseeing firefighting efforts.
