On Sunday President Donald Trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani has tested positive for COVID-19. The 76-year-old former New York mayor is the latest in a long line of people close to the White House, including Trump himself, who has been struck by a pandemic that has killed more than 280,000 Americans.

“@RudyGiuliani, by far the greatest mayor in the history of NYC, and who has been working tirelessly exposing the most corrupt election (by far!) in the history of the USA, has tested positive for the China Virus,” President Trump said, using a term for COVID-19

“I’m getting great care and feeling good. Recovering quickly and keeping up with everything,” Rudy Giuliani wrote on Twitter.

After news of Rudy Giuliani's test, the Arizona state legislature said it will close both chambers this week as a precaution "due to recent cases and concerns related to COVID-19." Rudy Giuliani met there last week with dozens of Republican lawmakers.
