Joe Biden said on Monday he will nominate California State Attorney Xavier Becerra for the position of Secretary of Health and Human Services as one of the top officials on his team to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.


Xavier Becerra, 62, a Latino former congressman, as faces more pressure to add diversity to his cabinet appointments.
