Gun rights activists demonstration set for Virginia capital
Gun rights activists will gather in the Virginia state capital on Monday for an annual gathering organized at a particularly tense time this year, after the January 6 siege of the U.S Capitol and two days earlier before the presidential inauguration.
Lobby Day has powered on alert in Richmond, about 110 miles (175 km) south of Washington, D.C., where Democrats President-elect Joe Biden will be sworn in on Wednesday, replacing Republican President Donald J.Trump.
The pro-Trump rallies scheduled for Sunday failed largely after the FBI issued warnings and published several National Guard states.
