On Wednesday the French Government released a furious response to America's nuclear submarine pact with the UK and Australia.

The decision announced by President Joe Biden was against "the letter and spirit that reigned in cooperation between France and Australia, based on a political relationship and the advancement of a very high level of trust," said Jean-Yves Le Drian, French Minister Of Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian and Minister of the Armed Forces Florence Parly.

On Wednesday, Biden authorized the creation of an improved security relationship to exchange underwater technologies with Australia in the Region of Asia Pacific, together with Prime Minister Scott Morrison of Australia and Prime Minister Johnson of the UK.

During the announcement, Biden addressed France, saying that the country has a significant regional presence and that America sees France as a "significant partner and partner for enhancing the security and development of this region."
