Trump, the former president, has amassed $122 million in his war chest as he considers another presidential run and as the GOP, poised to win back one or both chambers of Congress from Democrats, enters the midterm elections.

As reported by The New York Times, Trump's campaign funds far exceed that of the Republican Party.

Cash on hand for former President Trump is more than double the amount the Republican National Committee had at the beginning of the year.

Trump's funds come with some conditions. A special type of political action committee is keeping the $122 million, which cannot legally be used for another campaign. As reported by Insider, Trump, when it comes to publicly mull over becoming the 47th President, has limited options.

"The Fake News Media has done everything in their power not to report the record-setting $122 million that has been raised for Save America and publicly announced last night, they hate that I broke all records," Trump said in a statement released by Save America.
