House leaders announced a package of 117 Congressional rules that includes a proposal to use gender-inclusive language. This means that words like "father", "mother", "son", "daughter" and more are prohibited.

They will be replaced by "father, son, brother, father's brother" and so on.

The new rule aims to be inclusive of members of Congress who do not fall within traditional gender orientations.
