UK's PM says there is a "strong possibility" of not having a deal in trade relations with the EU

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Thursday there was a "very good chance" that Britain and the European Union would not reach a new trade deal, but pledged to do everything in their power to avoid a tumultuous split within three weeks.

The EU and Britain are at odds over fishing rights, economic play, and dispute settlement, despite months of talks to cover trade since January 1, when the UK finally left the orbit. From the block.

Johnson said: "We need to be very clear, there is now a great possibility, and a high probability that we have a solution that closely resembles an Australian relationship with the European Union more than a Canadian relationship with the European Union."
