The FBI raid at Mar-a-Lago is criticized for its blatant political nature

According to an open letter posted on Friday, several conservative groups accuse the Justice Department and FBI of engaging in partisan politics against former President Trump and his allies.

Attorney General Merrick Garland was asked by The Daily Caller to give the public "an immediate and complete explanation" regarding the raid on Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence and the seizure of Rep. Scott Perry's cellphone on Aug. 12.

The 11 conservatives, including former Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Ken Cuccinelli, wrote that they must immediately share all documents related to these seizures.

“The DOJ and FBI have breached the public trust. This blatant politicization of the federal justice system is a dangerous escalation without precedent, and incompatible with the United States Constitution,” the letter reads.

As a result of their unprecedented actions against Trump, Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray "have grossly failed" in their mission to deliver justice.
